IP-guard V+, the latest and powerful module of IP-guard, transparently and automatically encrypts files for authorized end users. It allows you to maintain data security without affecting end users' productivity. If the encrypted files are opened outside the authorized environment, they cannot be accessed and recognized. Encrypt/Decrypt document via the opening software
After setting policy, V+ will auto encrypt/decrypt the document files on agent computer via the opening software in the background.
Currently V+ support for more than 40 common softwares.
And the authorize list can be customized to support additinal softwares.
For example, for Microsoft word document (doc, docx), after setting policy, V+ agent will:
- Encrypt the document (doc, docx) while the user save/save as the file using Microsoft word
- Decrypt the document (doc, docx) while the user opening the file using Microsoft word
So the document files is all the way under encryption in the company.
Specific viewer to view the document content in third party
To send the encrypted document to any third party partner outside company, the specific viewer is required to view the content.
