Launched Corporate Information Asset Security System
e-Factory Showed Confidence in Attracting More Customers

The e-Factory of Hong Kong Productivity Council launched IP-guard, a corporate information asset security system, yesterday. According to Mr. Amen Yat-man Chan, Principal Consultant, e-Factory, IP-guard enables corporate executives to achieve remote control of business operations through Internet. Local enterprises with operations across the boarder are main targets.

They have used one year for design and development of the system. The selling price starts at HK$20,000. Mr. Chan believed that many enterprises need such monitoring system though current economic environment is not very good. He expected that the number of users will increase to about 500 this year.
